Reciprocity Theorem:
In any linear bilateral network, if a source
of e.m.f E in any branch produces a current I in any other branch, then the
same e.m.f E acting in the second branch would produce the same current I in
first branch.
PROCEDURE:
Reciprocity Theorem:
- Connect the circuit as shown in Fig 1-d.
- Apply some voltage V1
- Note down the ammeter (0 – 20 mA) reading as “I1”
- Inter change ammeter and voltage source as shown in Fig 1-e. and read the ammeter reading as “I2”
- Repeat the above procedure for different values or V1 and tabulate the values.
- I1 should be equal to I2
1. Connect the
circuit elements as per the circuit diagram
2. Avoid loose
connections of the circuit elements
3. Take the
readings carefully and accurately
